At Pastrymade, every cookie tool we craft tells a story.
And behind every product is a pair of hands often a mother, a daughter, a woman working with care and love.

One of those hands belongs to Mira.

Mira joined our team after escaping the war in Ukraine. Her brother was one of the many brave men who stayed behind to protect their homeland — before tragically losing his life 😭💔.

She brought her strength and spirit to our workshop✨, and her story became part of Pastrymade’s story (we have 5 Ukrainian friends and workers).
And now, we find ourselves facing another challenge.

🇺🇸 A Sudden Rule Change That Hit Hard

Due to updated U.S. import duties under new trade rules, all packages shipped from Poland to the U.S. are now subject to up to 50% in extra taxes.

As a small business, we can’t absorb these costs and continue to ship fairly.

So, with great sadness, we are forced to pause all U.S. orders starting August 29.

What This Means for Our Team

It’s more than just a business decision, it’s a human one.
